We are grateful beyond words for your time and attention in looking at these materials explaining the Gather-NOW programs. We appreciate your consideration in becoming a supporter and donor. 


With your help and support we can provide these powerful experiences in great number for members of The Restored Church of Jesus Christ where there is infinitely more at stake…more to learn, more to gain, more to understand, more to prepare…and more to do. As the Lord’s covenant people we can do more to hasten our preparation and that of our youth and young people as we strive to gather and prepare the world for His imminent return. This is the purpose and motivation for the creation of the Gather-NOW initiative. Now is the time and the programs are in place, we just need your help with the scholarships. We would also like to ask for your help in putting us in contact with others who would like to become a donor as well.

Why should I donate to Gather-NOW?

  • 1. Gather-NOW programs are designed to point to Christ and to our prophet’s invitation to engage in the gathering of Israel

    Gather-NOW is a unique way for each of us to hasten our own preparations and provide powerful experiences for hundreds of others. It is an opportunity for each of us to combine our talents, gifts, and means in a program that enriches experience, knowledge, relationships, and testimony. It is a unique way for us to be involved and to assist in the Gathering of Israel and to prepare for the 2nd coming.

  • 2. High return on investment through this intensely rich and immersive experience

    Gather-NOW programs are 10 to 17 day experiences where participants are infused with truth, knowledge, and the power of place that all help lead to deep conversion and understanding. With that unique training they will be better armed and able to engage in the Gathering of Israel and other sacred endeavors. It will be particularly helpful in retention and personal conversion for young single adults. It will, in a very real sense, be infusing the Youth Battalion of the Lord with deeply trained warriors.

  • 3. Provide opportunities for LDS youth who otherwise could not afford it

    The reason these Gather-NOW programs are so important is that they eliminate the financial barrier for participants. Similar programs (Birthright Tours sponsored by Israeli Government and Covenant Journey sponsored by the Baptist Church) are filling busloads of eager young people ready to learn and connect to their spiritual roots because the subsidized programs make it so they can afford to participate. This type of subsidized arrangement changes everything completely and opens doors for ALL to participate. Many families and individuals who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who would never even think of being able to participate are able to engage in this deep, personal conversion, and have these powerful spiritual experiences. It is a program that will fortify individuals, families, and the Church.

    Participants from the Tribe of Ephraim (and others from the Restored Church of Jesus Christ) will have the opportunity to connect to their spiritual roots and understand all the rights and privileges associated with their rich spiritual heritage through these intensely personal experiences!     These unique and onsite programs specialize in taking youth and young single adults to sacred sites and immersing them into the scripture stories and events which creates an unparalleled learning environment that cannot be duplicated. The scriptures come alive and change hearts and minds. Participants return home eager to dive into deeper study with their new understanding and excited to share with others. This is amazing preparation for missions, temple attendance and life!


    Gather-NOW programs are NOT a “free trip” to cool places. We select people who are ready to learn and are willing to work for the opportunity. Participants show that they are ready for this deeper level learning by creating meaningful service project and participating in pre-tour curriculum.

  • 5. Similar to Birthright and Covenant Journey Programs

    Experiencing the power of place, and standing in holy places, has a profound influence on an individual! For this reason, the Israeli Government instituted a “Birthright Program” where anyone with at least 25% Jewish blood can participate in an all-expense paid trip to the Holy Land. They understand the power of a personal visit to the Holy Land and invest millions in it. In similar fashion, the Baptists have a program for college students called “The Covenant Journey”. These participants pay $500 and the rest of their experience is subsidized by generous donors. These organizations understand the power of place and the deep conversion that occurs with such an experience.

  • 6. 10% used for running the program

    Program expenses include participant selection, pre-tour program, service project monitoring, and post tour services.
