International Travel Studies (iTs) specializes in edifying and educational experiences [programs] in a variety of formats and locations around the world. Our programs include Study Abroad programs to the Holy Land, Youth programs to scriptural locations, Humanitarian trips for all ages, Wilderness excursions, Pioneer Treks for all, Church History Tours, Professional Development Programs, Health & Nursing expeditions, Couples Retreats, Family Programs, Single Adult offerings, and even a Program for those Unable to Travel. Our overall objective is that of building faith, hope, and charity for all involved. We have three non-profit organizations closely associated and supporting our efforts. International Travel Studies (ITS) has over four decades of experience with educational travel and in providing inspirational and uplifting experiences for people of all ages. Blending the brilliance of travel with the insights of eternal truths and perspectives provides for powerful and life changing experiences. Intentional travel and providing these experiences is our specialty! 


Our Team consists of gifted and talented leaders, educators, and directors who have dedicated their lives to study and learning, but who share a passion for travel, service, and in inspiring others to greatness. Our directors are especially skilled at teaching on-site and in creating teaching opportunities and moments that help maximize your learning experience. Travel naturally provides you with invaluable insights and education as you interact with different cultures, languages, customs, religions, and practices. That becomes extra meaningful and poignant as our directors help connect the dots and carefully provide you with experiences that give meaning and insight to life and enlightenment with the correct blend of travel and application of revealed eternal truths. Our International Travel Studies team will help you get the most out of your travel experiences and ensure that you are enriched, enlightened, educated, and will return a different and better person. 


Meet our Team:


Dr. Clark D. Anderson EdD

Dr. Anderson is a founder of International Travel Study and has over 40 years of experience and expertise in meaningful and educational travel and in creating powerful experiences for participants. Clark is the head of our Youth Programs and is the assistant managing director for the Study Abroad, Humanitarian, Singles, Wilderness, Church History, and Pioneer Treks. Dann W Hone:

Dann is the founder of our associated non-profit organization; International Travel Studies Institute and has over 40 years of travel and touring experience. He is expert in curriculum development and is the head of our Holy Land Travel Study Program and serves as the President of the International Travel Studies Institute. Dr. Shon Hopkin PhD:

Shon will be leading one of our Youth Tours to Israel. Shon has directed several tours to the Holy Land. He has 20+ years teaching experience in Seminary & Institute and EFY as well. Shon is currently on the BYU Religion Faculty and Shon earned a PhD in Hebrew Studies from the University of Texas. We are honored to have such a qualified individual on faculty for our Youth Groups. 


Dr. Chris M. Allison:

Dr. Allision comes to us with a wealth of knowledge, experience and expertise in Mesoamerican theories for Book of Mormon land geography. A current Religion Professor at BYU-Idaho and father of three is a fantastic addition to our team! Chris served a mission in Ecuador and has spent his entire professional career as a Religious Educator. However, Chris is also certified as an Advanced EMT, Structural Firefighter and Wildland Firefighter and is retired from the Army Reserves as a Master Sergeant. He served for 24 years and ten of those years in the Special Forces where he jumped out of planes and helicopters and played with fun Army toys. He also ran a marathon. 

Glen Andersen:

Glen is passionate about providing life changing experiences for others, especially the youth! He is a gifted educator and is expert in all things having to do with Wilderness Survival. Glen is the co-founder of our iTs Wilderness Programs and will direct those programs this year! Contact Glen at: glen@internationaltravelstudies.com 


Ben Kemp:

Ben is a Wyoming native and has spent his life in the outdoors and in perfecting his skills in outdoor adventures like canoeing, fly fishing, hunting, building, etc. Ben is passionate about providing meaningful experiences in the outdoors and helping people connect with one another and with the things that matter most in life. International Travel Studies Institute (ITSI) is the non-profit arm and entity associated with International Travel Studies (iTs). There are scholarships and grants available through ITSI and it coordinates all academic relations and affairs.

International Travel Studies Foundation (ITSF) / Revive Now Foundation is an associated non-profit organization which organizes and carries out humanitarian expeditions and helps individuals and communities become self-reliant and self-sufficient. 

El Humanitarian

EL (Equity Life) Humanitarian sets itself apart as a charitable program that functions under Equity Life Foundation (a non-profit 501c3). Every experience with EL Humanitarian focuses on the principles of Unalienable Rights (Happiness, Prosperity, Security, Agency, Dominion, Conscience, Life, and Indispensable Virtues (Charity, Purity, Integrity, Fidelity, Morality, Sincerity, Humility)
 

PROGRAMS

HOLY LAND PROGRAMS (Israel, Egypt, Jordan)

The most exciting developments, and focus for 2020, are the extensive and exclusive programs in the Holy Land for youth and college level students. Our 2020 emphasis will be on these educational programs to the Holy Land and also in training and identifying leaders and directors for these programs. The youth/student based programs for 2020 are as follows: 
  • Study Abroad Programs (for college level students)
  • Family Programs (For all ages)
  • Extensive Holy Land Training Programs (intended for potential Directors and Leaders and includes ITS Training Course by Advisory Board & Faculty)
  • Study Abroad & Intensive Exploration Programs (2 to 6 week programs)
  • Single Adult Programs (emphasis on singles adult activities) 
  • Youth Programs (ages 16-18)

A variety of experiences are available for youth:

Humanitarian Trips, Holy Land Tours, Church History Trips, Book of Mormon Land Tours.

Travel to some of the most beautiful locations on planet earth and  Learn, Grow, and Connect with your spouse! We blend travel with inspiring and educational instruction that will give you tools and knowledge and also TIME to apply it. 
  • Couple Retreats to Hawaii or Mountain locations
  • Couples Cruises focused on strengthening relationships
  • Holy Land Tours. This may not seem like an obvious Couple get-away, but it is AMAZING for Couples to eat 3 meals a day together, stay in 5-star hotels in 3 different countries, learning and visiting some of the most historical and relevant sites and material. Work on your relationship all while learning and experiencing the ultimate travel destination for meaningful edification and inspiration. 
  • Humanitarian Programs (including Service Cruises with emphasis on Couples education and activities)

Book of Mormon/Mesoamerica Programs 
[Although we don't know exactly where the geographic location is of the Book of Mormon we will take the approach of a Celebration of the Book of Mormon in Mesoamerica]

  • Single Adult Programs (emphasis on singles adult activities)

Enjoy a unique Pioneer Trek experience with your family, friends, co-workers, etc. These experiences are for all ages. Connect with our rich Pioneer Heritage by pulling a real handcart on the actual Pioneer Trail in western Wyoming. (Options are also available to add on National Parks and other significant places in Utah and Wyoming; Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, Zion's, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Lake Powell, Park City, Salt Lake City, etc.
