Meet the experts behind our organization

Our Team are all consecrated and dedicated educators who believe strongly in the " Power of Place ". We are like-minded and like-hearted individuals who are all passionate about bringing the power of the scriptures to life and in following and promoting the living Prophet's advice and counsel. We believe in the blended approach of traveling and learning. Our leadership team and tour directors reflect a group of diverse individuals with breadth and depth of experience and knowledge all focused on providing life changing experiences for participants in our Gather-NOW programs.

Dr. Clark D. Anderson EdD

Dr. Anderson one of the founders of Gather-Now and International Travel Study and has over 40 years of experience and expertise in meaningful and educational travel and in creating powerful experiences for participants. Clark has 40 years of experience in the Holy Land. Clark earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees at BYU and a Doctorate Degree in Education at the University of Wyoming.

Mr. J’s enthusiasm for the Gospel and teaching will knock your socks off! He has been described as “ultra cheery in an almost unhuman way” by many of his former students. Jeff sees the light of Christ in all and tries his best to teach to that divine potential and to help all feel the spirit which draws out that spark of amazing awesomeness we all possess. Jeff became a historian at a young age and was already giving lectures on specific topics by the time he was 10. Since then, his passion has only grown and he hopes to share it with you on a Gather-NOW tour!

Jennifer Shaw is a passionate person who loves people and experiencing life! She is the CEO of Deepen Your Learning and loves working with Gather-Now. Jennifer has a batchelors in Chemical Enginering and has been a teacher for the past 20 years. She has been a volunteer in varoious youth organizations (4-H, BSA, Heroic Youth & LDS Church) for the past 25 years and is passionate about supporting immersive learning opportunities, especially educational travel.
