Deepen Your Learning

Deepen Your Learning is an exclusively educational and charitable organization providing opportunities for scholars of any age to broaden their education. Our purpose is to identify people with the heart of a scholar, a desire to deepen their education, and a drive to give back to their community and give them the opportunity to further their education in a profound way.

Our support of scholars will be through scholarships providing for and facilitating the opportunities for educational tours, supporting literary goals, and/or assisting with other educational passions. Applicants and program participants will be selected based on their passion for their education, leadership ability, financial need, and their drive for wanting to serve their community or another part of the world. 

Award candidates are asked to show their commitment to making their community and the world a better place by creating and implementing a service project in their area. Applicants will present their service project as part of their program application. Scholars applying for educational tours must study and prepare for the tour as well as participate in online classes/meetings.

Educational tours are purposeful:

* Develop Deep Understanding of Self

* Expand Global Perspective

* Give Humanitarian Service & Address Chronic or Critical Needs by Providing Aid or Education

Travel will help scholars:

* Understand history from a different perspective

* Gain exposure to famous and influential art

* Experience real places of interest

* Meet and gain appreciation for new friends

* Learn about foods, world cultures, and customs from other countries 

* Build an etiquette base

The tours will get scholars away from their usual environment to help open their eyes to see, feel, an d touch a whole new world and will inspire personal change and help make global connections. Scholars will see history come alive and be able to solve the 'Mystery of History' in their own mind. We aim to change hearts, change attitudes, and when needed correct feelings of entitlement as scholars are made aware of the needs of others around the world.

All tours follow the 'Three P's':

People: Team of people who live in and understand the area of travel

Plan: Specific curriculum that supports deeper education and impact

Purpose: Educational, cultural, linguistic, historical immersion learning specific to location or  humanitarian service

Deepen Your Learning supports specific programs such as:

Latter-day Birthright Tours, Gather-NOW Humanitarian Leadership Week, Youth Wilderness Experiences (YWE), and other amazing programs that align with Deepen Your Learning philosophies.

If you have a deep passion to travel to a specific location, we are here to help you make your dreams come true. We can support you in an already planned educational tour with an existing educational tour company or we can help guide you to find a  tour that has the 'Three P's.

Deepen Your Learning was created to primarily support educational travel as listed above. 

However, Deepen Your Learning also supports various literary goals and other educational passions. 

Deepen Your Learning provides assistance to scholars to encourage literary goals. 

Awards may be be provided to help aspiring authors publish their work. We may also provide assistance to scholars wanting to start book clubs or writers' guilds at their schools or in their communities.

Scholars may apply for assistance with any need that will help them meet and achieve an educational goal. 

The purpose of our educational programs is to deepen experiences, grow knowledge, and facilitate opportunities for scholars to better themselves and better their community.
