Dalton Bennett

Assistant Director of Youth Holy Land Tour

Dalton Bennett believes that teaching about the Savior and His ministry is his calling in life, and that he needs to do it joyfully! You will be hard pressed to find a teacher who has as many quips and heartfelt testimonies as Brother Bennett. After serving an LDS mission to the Seattle area, Dalton studied at Brigham Young University. He majored in History with an emphasis in Inter-Testament/New Testament studies. During his studies at BYU Dalton attended the Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies, giving him a personal glimpse into the majesty of the Holy Land. While living there, Dalton knew that he would come back and teach other people about the Savior as they too walked the streets of Jerusalem and along the coast of Galilee. Dalton has been teaching ever since his mission, with jobs as an instructor at the Missionary Training Center, a teaching assistant in the Religion Department, and as a part time seminary teacher. Dalton is currently employed by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as a full-time seminary teacher and loves every minute of his job. He is married to the beautiful Jamie Fjerstad, and he loves spending as much time with her as possible. You can catch Dalton preparing for his next lesson, outside hiking or running, and season permitting watching his beloved Utah Jazz (the three great loves of his life: Jesus, Jamie, the Jazz).
