We are grateful beyond words for your time and attention in looking at these materials explaining the Gather-NOW programs. We appreciate your consideration in becoming a supporter and donor. 

Our program will only work in its entirety with consecrated donors like yourself. We know you get approached often, but we hope you will see how your donations to Gather-NOW will be unique and long-lasting. 

Gather-NOW is a deep religious-oriented travel program that helps participants build a solid spiritual foundation. It is unique in that it includes subsidized scholarships which enables travel for all who qualify. 

Gather-NOW sends youth and others to sacred scriptural places to teach them, firsthand, the truths of the Restored Gospel with special emphasis on the latest directives from the Living Prophet. (The nature of our programs are particularly helpful in understanding the Gathering of Israel). 

Participants in the Gather-NOW programs will undergo a Pre-Tour Curriculum which will help maximize the impact of the experience. Scholarship recipients will also be expected to plan and conduct a meaningful Service Activity in addition to the Pre-Tour Curriculum. 

Gather-NOW programs are 10 to 17 day experiences where participants are infused with truth, knowledge, and the power of place that all help lead to deep conversion and understanding. With that unique training they will be better armed and able to engage in the Gathering of Israel and other sacred endeavors. It will be particularly helpful in retention and personal conversion for young single adults. It will, in a very real sense, be infusing the Youth Battalion of the Lord with deeply trained warriors. 

Experiencing the power of place, and standing in holy places, has a profound influence on an individual! For this reason the Israeli Government instituted a “Birthright Program” where anyone with at least 25% Jewish blood can participate in an all-expense paid trip to the Holy Land. They understand the power of a personal visit to the Holy Land and invest millions in it. In similar fashion, the Baptists have a program for college students called “The Covenant Journey”. These participants pay $500 and the rest of their experience is subsidized by generous donors. These organizations understand the power of place and the deep conversion that occurs with such an experience. 

With your help and support we can provide these powerful experiences in great number for members of The Restored Church of Jesus Christ where there is infinitely more at stake…more to learn, more to gain, more to understand, more to prepare…and more to do. As the Lord’s covenant people we can do more to hasten our preparation and that of our youth and young people as we strive to gather and prepare the world for His imminent return. This is the purpose and motivation for the creation of the Gather-NOW initiative. Now is the time and the programs are in place, we just need your help with the scholarships. 

The timing and need for this program is also compelling. These programs will bless each individual involved at every level, from participant, to directors, counselors, and chaperones, to in-country service providers, and to the donors themselves. Gather-NOW is a unique way for each of us to hasten our own preparations and provide powerful experiences for hundreds of others. It is an opportunity for each of us to combine our talents, gifts, and means in a program that delivers results in things in which we are able to take with us into the next life—experience, knowledge, relationships, and testimony. It is a unique way for us to be involved and to assist in the Gathering of Israel. 

Just to be clear…The reason the “Birthright Program" and "The Covenant Journey" programs are so successful is because it eliminates the financial barrier for the participants. They are filling busloads of eager young people ready to learn and connect to their spiritual roots because they can afford to do so, and in a more accurate sense, it is because at that price they can't afford not to. This type of subsidized arrangement changes everything completely and opens doors for ALL to participate. Many families and individuals who would never even think of being able to participate are able to engage in this deep, personal conversion, and have these powerful spiritual experiences. It is a program that will fortify individuals, families, and the Church. 

It is really great that Jews (from the Tribe of Judah) are infusing its people from all over the world with these profound experiences, and the Baptists as well, but it is time for a program for the Tribe of Ephraim (and others from the Restored Church of Jesus Christ) that will connect them to their spiritual roots and help them understand all the rights and privileges associated with their rich spiritual heritage! There is nothing more important and more significant than the work that will be performed by those from the Tribe of Ephraim!

MORE DETAILS:

Donations will be processed through our 501(c)(3) partner organization called, “Deepen Your Learning”. This will secure any tax benefits for you and your contributions. Donors may also have some input on the process and program as well. 

Your donation will directly support participants who qualify for participation in the program and who cannot afford it. Our application process helps determine financial need as well as the participants desire to engage and serve. Preference will be given to participants with deep desires to learn and serve, and scholarships will be awarded to those with financial needs in the form of a Deepen Your Learning Scholarship. 

A Financial Endowment might be a more effective and empowering approach to funding the scholarships. With an endowment, the Gather-NOW program would be able to function for many years to come. [Direct donations would also be appreciated and helpful]. 

If we reach our requested donation amounts, we can launch this program in 2022 and provide for over 150 youth to participate in 2022, growing to over 350 youth in 2023.
